09.12.2005, Effective January 1, 2006, or as contracts allow, Lonza will increase prices on products sold into the Water Treatment, Wood, Household, Industrial & Institutional, Personal Care and Functional markets by 5 – 10%.
The product lines affected include Halohydantoins and other Hydantoin derivatives, Quats, Amines, Alkyl Chlorides, Surfactants and other specialty biocides and preservatives.
The company cites the continued increases in raw material transportation and energy related costs through 2005 as cause for the action.
